The Victorian Awning – A British Tradition

The origin of the term “Victorian” awning is obvious. Nowadays, many products are named after our second longest serving monarch, even if the connection is not always clear.

Our traditional awning is meticulously crafted to reflect the original design of the 19th century. Our hand-crafted timber traditional awning boxes are carefully constructed to the specifications of the 150-year-old design and decorated by hand.

Although the metalwork design of the awning arms remains traditional, we have improved durability by introducing powder coating to our inhouse facilities. This modern technique ensures a significantly longer lifespan, a method not available to our Victorian predecessors.
