The Victorian Awning was the original retractable awning. We first started manufacturing them at the end of the 19th century. The original awnings manually closed using a pole and were an instant success on the British High Street. Over the course of time, not much has changed to the original design. Today, the awning can now be retracted by remote control operation or manually by using a hand crank, but we still offer the original manually-spung pole option, as well as a non-retractable option.
