Bespoke Belle Époque Victorian Awnings for Maison Soutine, St John’s Wood
We recently recovered four Victorian awnings for Maison Soutine in St John’s Wood, and we couldn’t be prouder of the result. Using our Edition II fabric, we’re able to bring almost any design to life across both sides of the canopy- no limits, just craftsmanship and imagination.
For Soutine, that meant creating a Belle Époque-inspired ornamental border framing the Maison Soutine wordmark on the larger awnings, echoed on the smaller ones for a beautifully unified frontage. We matched the main fabric to the client’s chosen Pantone and hand-produced sample swatches before manufacture, so every shade was exactly right before we began.
Valance branding across the larger awnings announces Café, Restaurant and Bar in style. The finished awnings capture Soutine’s elegant character perfectly, proof of what bespoke, handmade awning craft can really achieve.
