Victorian Awnings for a High End Property
External sunblinds and awnings are becoming increasingly popular in the UK and raditional canvas blinds have been used on elegant homes since the 19th Century. In the last 50 years, blinds of new styles and types have appeared, made of aluminium components, with rot-proof and fade-proof fabrics.
The advantages and attractions of external sunblinds are many:

However, not everyone wants to install contemporary aluminium awnings on their traditional homes and we have, at The Victorian Awning Company, a range of traditional awnings which compliment the traditional home.
The example shown here is of our Victorian awning system with traditional painted wooden awning box and steel powder coated arms. These awnings have been supplied with bold green and white awning fabric which has all the aesthetic look of canvas but is woven from UV and soil resistant 300 Gm acrylic yarn.
