Traditional Victorian Awnings – The Salvation Army

The Victorian Awning Company employ a skilled Team of commercial awning designers who have a wealth of High Street facia knowledge. This enables them to recommend suitable awnings for installation in historic commercial locations.

According to the Bedford Borough Virtual Library listing, “The drapers shop at 113 High Street was run initially by Walter Blott, who was born at Midloe Grange near St Neots, the son of a farmer.”

Now occupied by the Salvation Army, we were commissioned to install authentic Victorian awnings on this important corner location. The Victorian awnings have been carefully installed to avoid any conflict with the historic frontage and now provide a highlight on this busy thoroughfare. Read More
