Gold Leaf Branding for Augustus Adams, Pall Mall
These two identical Rib® Wedge canopies, installed at Augustus Adams on Pall Mall, were specified with a particularly distinguished finish.
Whilst the canopies themselves are based on our standard, all aluminium Rib® design, the valances were detailed with 24 carat gold leaf lettering. The words FINE ART & ANTIQUES were carefully gilded onto each canopy, reflecting the profile of this exclusive business.
The gold leaf was applied using the traditional five-stage gilding process – a skill retained by us and unchanged for centuries. The result is a pair of striking canopies that combine robust engineering with timeless craftsmanship.
