Elegant Bespoke Victorian Awnings Enhance Kayu’s Shopfront, Mayfair
We recently completed a striking installation for Kayu in Mayfair, where two bespoke Victorian awnings were manufactured and fitted to enhance the new café’s frontage. Designed with precision, each awning features scalloped valances finished with crisp white trim, a distinctive corn yellow–orange fabric, and a light oak-stained timber box that adds warmth and character to the shopfront.
To reinforce Kayu’s brand identity, our exclusive RAGS® branding system was applied to the valances and one of the covers, ensuring the awnings make a bold yet refined statement on this busy Mayfair street. Every detail was considered, with all sliders and metalwork powder-coated to match the surrounding shopfront colour for a seamless finish.
These bespoke shopfront awnings combine the elegance of traditional Victorian awnings with modern detailing, creating a welcoming frontage that reflects both craftsmanship and contemporary branding. The result is a pair of high-quality branded awnings that not only provide practical shade and shelter but also elevate the café’s presence in one of London’s most prestigious locations.
