Fine Victorian Awnings Lovingly Refurbished in Canterbury
Refurbishing Victorian awnings is not a task to be considered lightly and should only be attempted by experts.
This Victorian awning, at the Canterbury branch of The Clarendon Fine Art Collection, was no exception. The large Victorian awning retracts using a traditional Victorian spring mechanism which is extremely powerful and must be handled with great care.
In this case, the awning components were carefully removed to our works for complete refurbishment and returned to site with a new fabric awning cover. The branding to the Victorian awning cover was quite specific and a digital layout of the artwork was provided to the client, in advance, for approval.
