A Very British Patio Awning for Historic London Residence

An unusual Installation of a Victorian awning can be seen here on, what is, an historic terrace home in the old part of London’s East End. Our client wished to make use of the area outside the cosy living room but, clearly, a modern awning system would have been inappropriate on this tucked away Victorian home.

The Victorian awning is the perfect solution to provide cover for older premises where a modern, aluminium, system would look out of place. With an FSC sourced hard wood awning box, finished in a paint colour or stain of choice, and metal parts, powder coated in a high impact antique black finish, the awning has added a practical feature in complete sympathy with the building.

The aquamarine awning fabric was selected from a range of over 300 plain and striped colourways though bespoke colours are possible, on request.
